Making Custom NXT/Technic Parts

Saakia Bakker, a student at the Eindhoven University of Technology created some custom NXT (Technic) parts using rapid prototyping (a three-dimensional printing-like technology). This was done in the context of trying to build a Lego hovercraft, but the part-manufacturing technique itself is interesting in its own right. Check out the detailed report for more details.
