Comments on: NXT Mobile Application Now Available!

I have a Sony Ericsson Z520a; I tried both the Z750i and the K510i applications. Both run on my phone (the K510i version has the correct screen size so it is more useable) but I got the usual “Lost connection to NXT. Please r” error message. Tried deleting and reinstalling per George’s suggestion but still doesn’t connect. Bluetooth on the NXT is on and I have even had NXT discover my phone. Any further suggestions?

It works flawlessly on my Siemens cx75
By the way, the fact of being the cheapest phone compatible with the NXT mobile software was the reason to buy it.

Anyone out there have any luck getting the Nokia 6680 version of the app to run on a Cingular-branded 6682? I too am suffering from the “Connection Lost” error after selecting the NXT found through Bluetooth discovery.

I’ve tried clean installs of the app, as well as rebooting both phone and NXT, and had no luck. Any advice appreciated,

My NXT won’t allow me to connect to both my laptop and w810i simultaneously on bluetooth. From what I can tell, it will only connects to bluetooth device 0. Has anyone else had success with this?

I finally got it to work. I uninstalled from my phone, reinstalled and it worked fine. Big disappointment that I couldn’t take pictures with this phone though. Hopefully that will be added in the future.

I’m having the same problem with my Sony 810i as monks. I’m using Rogers in Canada although I doubt that’s the problem. I’m not sure where to go next with this. I really want this to work because it’s such an amazing pairing.

Hi Lars,
I have a Sony W810i from cingular and I tried the W800 jar software but even though I can initially connect to the NXT, I get the “Lost connection with NXT. Please re-connect”, as soon as I try to use any of the functions !!
Please help, if you have any other insights.

Just bought the SE w810i. It works like a charm with the w800i software. This combination (nxt+w810) is already my absolute favourite gadget(s). play on!

I had a bunch of programs on the NXT, I deleted everything except the demo that comes pre-loaded and it still failed, so I don’t think thats the problem…
