There are actually two great things about this. First, it's great to have more sensor options, and it's nice to have these options in an official-looking enclosures. (Lego did the right thing here, giving 3rd party vendors access to these parts.) Second, it's great to see that HiTechnic is also supporting experimentation by offering the prototyping board.
