Is the white wire I see connected to the Mindsensors compass sensor (aka: "GPS")?

On BT, the NXT, and GPS... not yet. This is one of those things that those of us on the MDP expanssion (actually, even earlier, like within a few days of getting on the MUP2 at the very least) we were excited about. The problem is GPS units send text strings of information... and NXT-G, at least, can not recieve and decode them. This means you can't do it cleanly in NXT-G, but it may be possible under RobotC, or with modifications of NXT-G (like with the LabVIEW Toolbox... but I'm not sure yet).

I think it like this:

Rear wheels have one motor each, and the front wheels are not controlled at all, the thrid motor TURNS the front wheels making them move... (as far as i can see in the pic)

If that is true THEN, this cant be THE desert ranger coz for deserts you need a 4x4 drive.

Btw...Perfect design and nice sleek bot...(its shining a lot in the pic)

I would like some help on building bots...

k_kirk: send me an email guy@nxtasy.org with more details on model and I'll try to help. NXT has BT capabilities, but it depends also on your GPS unit. I don't REALLY have a GPS navigation in my "NXT Desert Rider" ... ;) Actually, I never saw a small enough GPS unit in affordable cost.

Great idea & build!!! Are you serious about GPS integration? I was wondering about this myself. I have a Bluetooth enabled GPS unit which is small enough to hide somewhere inside a robot. I would like to find a way to grab its data and use it in my robot's program. Any ideas?

Nope, it stears like a real car. You se the stearing-axle behind the front-weel. And you se some orange of an motor above it. Between the touch sensor and bumper-beam. (click on the picture to se a gigantic image)

Nice Jeep btw.
