That's because Søren Lund is the MAN!

As the SDK's are released in August, including a bluetooth development kit, you can expect our options to grow for remote control applications.

Aren't you supposed to be able to remote control your NXT from a Bluetooth cellphone? Like <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/eirikref/105295785/in/set-72057594071392779/" rel="nofollow">this guy</a>?

Can't wait to finally be able to purchase NXT down here in Australia. Love your first little bot, especially the camera footage at the end.

Hans,
I just shoved my digital camera under some of the wires out of the front of the NXT brick. Worked quite well. I think in the future, I'll always build in a mounting system for the camera.

Rick,
I'll try to whip together some instructions along with the source code this weekend.

Luke,
Congrats on the project, as well! At this time, there are not many options for remote control. As soon as the development kits are released in August, we should see things start to pick up. In the interim, have a go with the MS Robotics Studio to try to build remote control software. There's a thread in our forums discussing alternatives to NXT-G.

Hi, Eric.

I've just created my first project too... I'll make few pics or videos and post them here at a later time. My vehicle drives around with Ultrasonic sensor and when it detects anything closer than 15" it will stop change direction and continue it's journey to draining the battery...

I have one question to anyone who reads your blog. How can I control the NXT from my PC in real time? I want to be able to control my vehicle like a remote controlled car.

Thanks,
Cheers, HAPPY BUILDING!!! :-)

By the way, I assume the end of the video is the view from the robot? How did you position the camera?
