What to say NXT?

Get used to the cheesy headlines. Anyhoo, the LEGO Mindstorms NXT can surely say some pretty cool things out of the box. I don’t know about you, but there are tons of other things I’d like my robots to be able to say. You know, like “Good afternoon, Eric. That tie looks sharp.” Or even “All your base are belong to us!” to remind me of yesteryear.

Well, the folks at the AT&T research labs have a cool text-to-speech tool to make your robots speak their little hearts out. You can choose from a variety of speech characters with different genders and accents. Just convert the downloaded file into an NXT-compatible sound file, drop into a sound block, and enjoy!
